Matt Davis is a versatile musician, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in St. Louis, Missouri.  He holds a bachelor's degree in music performance and is a board-certified Music Therapist.  With over three decades of experience across a wide range of musical genres, his passion for American roots music remains a unifying thread in his work.

One of Matt's standout projects is The Lucky Old Sons, a band that fuses his offbeat songwriting style with the timeless sounds of the 1950s and 60s.  For the past ten years, he has also performed solo in senior living communities, where his style of music is a natural fit.

It was through these performances that Matt recognized the powerful role music can play in the well-being of older adults. Motivated by this discovery, and by a personal desire to connect with his father who lived with dementia, he pursued formal training in Music Therapy.  This path has allowed him to unite his musical background with a deeper purpose in the service of others.
